Last night after work, my sister and I headed to Sixth and I Historic Synagogue to see and celebrate our culinary idol, Ina Garten's new book!!! Ina's show is by far my favorite show on the Food Network. She makes entertaining look so fun and easy! Also, how cute are her and her husband, Jeffrey?!
The inside of the synagogue was beautiful, especially the ceiling!
Ina was hilarious and witty:
"Someone once asked me to endorse fertilizer. I said, you want me to endorse shit?!"
Plus, we got some inside scoop! Did you know that she is releasing a line of frozen entrees. Very intriguing! Also, did you know she use to work as a Nuclear Policy Analyst?!!! Badass.
And with our ticket, we got a signed copy of her new book: Barefoot Contessa - FOOLPROOF.
I can't wait to try some of her new recipes out!
P.S. I have no idea why the last picture is showing up upside down on certain computers. On mine it looks fine, but on my iPhone/iPad it shows up upside down. Does anyone know how to fix it?
